According to Moriones Police commander Lt. Col. Magno Gallora, Jr., the case stemmed from a complaint by Xander’s ex-girlfriend.
Xander’s management, Star Image, also confirmed that their talent was arrested for assault and attempted rape.
Xander vehemently denied the allegation but apologized to his ex-girlfriend and begged to talk about their misunderstanding.
Alam ko nakikita mo to.
Sana magka-ayos na tayo,” he added.

Arizala was a member of the boy band Hasht5, a boy band parody whose videos became popular in 2015. After leaving Hasht5 to pursue a solo career, he underwent plastic surgery, changing his name to “Xander Ford”. His transformation received widespread coverage online.
On June 18, 2020, Arizala was accused of rape and physical abuse by his ex-girlfriend, Ysah Cabrejas.
Cabrejas accused Xander of forcing her to have sex with him even if she has her period or if she does not want to do it. She claimed that there was a time he got angry with her because she did not want to take a bath together.
