It was here that the neighbors called for help from barangay officials.

Arriving at the couple’s hut, the barangay officials found the victim lying on her back and lifeless, with more than 50 stab wounds.

Col, Ed Guevarra, chief of Mabalacat City Police Station.

(Arriving at the crime scene, our barangay watchmen even talked to the suspect himself, and asked where his wife was, he pointed inside the house, and at the same time fled.)

The knife used in the stabbing was recovered.

(We look at many angles, but the closest is the angle of jealousy, the so-called ‘crime of passion’ in English. Because if you are not very angry, you will not stab someone more than 53 times.)

Police arrested the suspect when he returned to the crime scene.

Upon his arrest, the live-in partner confessed to the crime he had committed. He will be charged with murder.
