According to a report by the Manila Police District-Station 5, the crime occurred on Railroad St., Port Area behind the Philippine Red Cross-National Capital Region (NCR) Office at around 10:45 pm.

According to the victim’s boyfriend Saed Baguilan, 24, security guard, they were on their way to a convenience store to buy something to eat when he suddenly heard a gunshot. He was surprised to find that his girlfriend fell in the ground, already bleeding.

He did not believe that his girlfriend was shot because it was so dark in the area. He did not see the gunman’s face, but he said the gunman was wearing a yellow shirt and hat.

Earlier, Baguilan had just returned home from work when the victim complained about the group of men drinking who verbally harassed her.

Baguilan suspected the shooting had something to do with the confrontation he had with a group of men who had been drinking in the area and harassed the victim.

He said no one answered or spoke to him, so he left.
