The suspect would simply sign receipts each time she buys an item using the stolen credit cards.

The victim’s husband complained that the cashiers did not seem to care if the signature on the credit card was the same as the thief’s signature.

It all happened before the owner blocked his stolen credit cards.

“Si misis, andaming proseso kaniyang pagdadaanan tapos marami ka pang isasagot bago ma-process. Ipa-process pa lang, hindi pa talaga maba-block,” the victim’s husband said.

Aside from credit cards, an expensive wallet and some government IDs were also stolen from the victim.

It is said that it will take 60 to 100 days before the banks issue a decision on whether to accept the victim’s story or she will still pay for the thief’s expenses.

The victim has already reported the matter to the police. Her only hope of winning is if someone recognizes the dimple in the suspect’s arm seen on CCTV.
