Still unknown suspects allegedly raped, shot, burned the face and left a woman dead in a vacant lot in Brgy. Patitinan, Sagnay, Camarines Sur, yesterday morning.
The victim is estimated to be between 25-35 years old, and no sign of identification recovered from the area.
According to the Police Regional Office (PRO) V reports, it was around 7 in the morning when the woman’s body was discovered. The victim has no underwear while her chest up to her head was severely burned. Suspects abandoned her on the side of the road in Sitio Rawis, Brgy. Patitinan, Sagnay of the said province.
According to P / Major Ma. Luisa Calubaquib, a spokesman for Bicol Police, said a Bernard Corderes found the victim when he passed by the area. He immediately reported it to authorities who responded quickly to the crime scene.

As per Sagnay Municipal Police’s initial investigation, the victim was possibly murdered in the same area where Corderes found her. It was based on ammunition recovered in the crime scene.
Residents said they do not know the victim who could have been from another town.
The body has been subjected to an autopsy as police continue to investigate the case.
