Woman with no swab test gives birth outside hospital in Bulacan

A pregnant woman was forced to give birth outside a hospital in Sta. Maria Bulacan, after she was not admitted to the hospital due to the lack of a swab test.

In a GTV “Balitanghali” report on Friday, the woman’s live-in partner said that the hospital did not want to accept them because they could not show a swab test result.

He also said that the hospital did not agree to let the woman give birth first because she was in labor.

Despite giving birth outside the hospital, the mother and her baby are said to be in good condition.

According to the report, based on the Department of Health Policy, a swab test result is included in the requirement for pregnant women before giving birth.

But President Rodrigo Duterte said that hospitals should accept all patients.

7 tourists in Boracay arrested for presenting fake RT-PCR test results

Boracay Police arrested seven tourists from the National Capital Region Plus bubble after discovering that their RT -PCR tests were fake.

According to Malay police chief Lieutenant Colonel Don Dicksie De Dios, the provincial validation team confirmed that the documents presented were fake.

As a result, the authorities immediately picked up the tourists at their hotel and took them to a quarantine facility in Kalibo town.

The tourists have already undergone a swab test and are just waiting for the results to come out.

The Malay Police is currently preparing to file a case against the tourists.

More than 700 tourists from NCR Plus (Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal) arrived in Boracay on Saturday.

The government has already allowed leisurely travel of NCR Plus residents, regardless of their age, to areas under general community quarantine and modified general community quarantine from June 1 to 15.

Travelers must only test negative for COVID-19 and follow local government guidelines.
