Why did JaDine break up?

James Reid and Nadine Lustre or JaDine confirmed their break up last night at “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”

The former couple is supposed to celebrate their 4th anniversary on February 11. The two released a joint statement regarding their separation through the late talk show.

JaDine’s split was first reported on January 1 by Jojo Gabinete of PEP.ph. He said James and Nadine’s close friends already knew about the breakup which they have not admitted to the public yet.

The source also said Nadine moved out of James’ house in Quezon City, where they lived together.

Nadine even lambasted veteran journalist Ricky Lo for his article regarding her break up with James Reid.

“None of what you said was true, and it is never okay to use someone’s mental situation/tragic past just to prove a point. Mental illness is a very sensitive matter,” Nadine said in an Instagram story as a reaction to Lo’s column.

Before announcing their break up, the two had a vacation in Brazil for a fashion shoot.

Why did JaDine break up?

The two young actors their split is a mutual decision, and it is for them to focus on their growth and individual careers.

“It’s true that we have split up, but not for all the reasons that are being spread on the tabloids and social media, but because after quiet and mature conversations, we decided to focus on ourselves not only for our careers but more for our personal growth as we are still young and we want to achieve as much as we can,” they said.

“Thank you for all the JaDine fans for their undying support and we hope you continue to support us now and in the future. We shall forever be grateful to them for their love and understanding. Thank you,” they added.
