A 26-year-old Vietnamese man was robbed at gunpoint by four attackers after walking home from his call centre job in Mandaluyong City.
Anh Nguyen Hoang, a Vietnamese national, lost his 60,000-peso cell phone and 1,334 pesos in cash to motorcycle-riding robbers who held him up at 9.40pm on Pinatubo Street.
Hoang said he lost his company ID and alien registration ID inside his wallet.
Just last week Mandaluyong City extended Ordinance #550 for an additional three years which bans unrelated men from riding together on motorcycles.
