Vico Sotto suing 2 ‘fixers’ of vaccine slots in Pasig City

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has decided to file a complaint against the two arrested on charges of inserting people into the vaccine queue.

According to Sotto, last weekend, there was a report that the alleged fixers were allegedly inserting into the queue and making money from it.

He said he would not allow anyone to disturb and take advantage of the vaccination queue.

“‘Yung isa merong profiler namin mismo nagtatrabaho within the vaccination team, isinisingit niya talaga, binibigyan niya ng appointment, buti may nagsalita nga about dito,” Sotto said in an interview on the program “Sakto” on Tuesday morning.

The mayor has left it to the legal office to determine the appropriate case against the two fixers.

The Pasig Police Station warned the fixers and called on the public not to indulge those who commit illegal activity.

Catherine Deligente, officer in charge of Pasig Police Station community affairs section.

The police will review their procedures and intensify their coordination with the local government to prevent a recurrence of such incidents.

About 13 million COVID-19 vaccine doses are also expected to arrive in , according to the National Task Force Against COVID-19.
