Typhoon Dante left severe damage in Central Luzon, Southern Tagalog, and Eastern Visayas.

Tree branches fell, and there was also a power outage.
In the morning, the displaced families were also sent to the towns of Orion and Mariveles.
Their house in Matabungkay in Lian, Batangas was also destroyed. This includes Nasie Ordona’s house.
Her husband is trying to build their house from what he has found.
“Kaliliitan pa ho mga anak ko, wala naman po kami mapupuntahan, isang kahig, isang tuka lang po kami, sana matulungan niyo po kami,” said Ordona.
According to barangay captain Ernie Cabahog, about 20 houses were destroyed. The rafts that are the source of livelihood of the residents have also been damaged especially now that tourism has reopened in Lian town.
“‘Yun po ang source of income ng mga kabarangay ko so pag nasira po ‘yan at hindi po agad naipagawa wala po silang ibang pagkukunan,” said Cabahog.
Ships and tugboats with tow barges ran aground in Balayan, Batangas due to strong currents.
“There are tugboats na pupunta para to assist, para ma-salvage doon sa kaniyang pagkakasadsad. Hindi na natin masabi na may threat sa shoreline,” said Batangas Coast Guard Commander Capt. Geronimo Tuvilla.

Three boats were also damaged, and others sank in Barangay Palikpikan when the tugboat also hit them.
But the residents are more worried about the two huge ships that ran aground since typhoon Quinta.
“Natatakot din po ang aming mga mangingisda dahil halos sila nga po ay sumasalpok diyan,” said Barangay Chairman Tessie Lopez.
The floods reached more than a dozen people in their area in Calubian, Leyte. Some animals also drowned, and the bridge being built in Barangay Kokoy Romualdez was also damaged.
There was also a landslide at a school due to Dante. Two men died – a 51-year-old and an 8-year-old – in drowning while the 1-year-old child went missing.
Meanwhile, 100 individuals were evacuated from various barangays in San Jose town in Occidental Mindoro due to flooding.
