The Sinulog Grand Parade is synonymous with Cebu City, but so is missing people after the parade, a growing problem in large, crowded events in the Philippines.

So far a reported 19 children and two senior citizens are missing after family members joined the parade and festivities associated with the grand festival.

Acting Cebu City Mayor said that they are assisting the families in locating their loved ones missing at this time.

Originally over 24 children were reported missing during the event – most of those were below the age of 10.

Police say they have only received reports that seven people are missing.
