ABS-CBN launches TVplus Go for mobile devices nationwide.

The network aims to broaden its digital television audience scope through the latest technology.

The device also wanted to help commuters lighten their everyday suffering of daily commute and traffic through accessible mobile entertainment.

ABS-CBN Access head Charles Lim said, “Millions of Filipinos use mobile devices as part of their everyday lives. We aim to serve every Filipino by providing easy and affordable access to entertainment and information from their favorite Kapamilya channels right at their fingertips with ABS-CBN TVplus Go.”

“This product will transform our customers’ daily inconveniences into moments of comfort and entertainment, and it will help change their outlook, as commute struggles will now become lighter and more bearable,” Lim added.

TVplus Go Price and Features

TVplus Go offers free-to-air channels such as ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN S+A and exclusives such as DZMM TeleRadyo, CineMo, YeY, Knowledge Channel, MYX, Asianovela Channel, Movie Central, Jeepney TV, and O Shopping.

Users simply mount the device to their Android device to use it. It requires Android 5.0 or higher, at least 1GB RAM and a dual-core processor. Gadgets with Type-C USB need to use a USB-OTG adaptor.

As of today, TVplus Go is available in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Batangas, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Baguio City, Cavite, Laguna, Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Metro Cebu, Cagayan de Oro City, and Davao City.

Consumers do not need to pay a monthly subscription or mobile internet data to watch. They can have it for a one-time payment of P799 pesos for the device.

It is available different stores nationwide: SM Savemore, SM Hypermarket,  Gadget Hub, SM Department Store,  SM Business Center, SM Appliance, Abensons, Villman, Robinsons Appliance, Silicon Valley, Handyman, DIY, and Puregold.

ABS-CBN’s TVplus already sold over 8 million boxes as of July 2019.
