Trump tweets ‘All is well’ after Iran bombs US military bases in Iraq

United States President Donald Trump tweeted “All is well, so far so good” after Iran launched missile attacks in two US military bases in Iraq.

In his tweet, Trump said they continue to assess the casualties and damages the strikes have caused.

Trump, however, said, “So far, so good!” He also said his country has the most powerful military in the world.

The U.S. President’s complete tweet says,

“All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.”

Iran has launched more than a dozen missiles at the al-Asad base and in the town of Erbil in Iraq, as confirmed by Pentagon spokesperson Jonathan Hoffman.

Hoffman said today they are continuing their assessment of the damage caused by the attacks.

Also, the White House is holding a meeting attended by the U.S. Defense Secretary Esper and U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo.

Mark Milley, who is also chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was also present at the White House.

In this regard, one of Trump’s top critic and lawmaker Nancy Pelosi has called for the administration to halt unjustified provocations to Iran.

He said the situation should not lead to war.
