Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go trended on Twitter on Friday, with the hashtag “#T***inaMoBongGo” after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) summoned a college student who allegedly shared an online post against the senator.
“#T***inaMoBongGo” was number one in today’s Twitter’s trending list as netizens lambasted Go for allegedly being overly sensitive. Some even made fun of Senator Go using memes.
Bong Go did not respond to address the Twitter memes and the hashtag but he clarified he supports freedom of expression.

Meanwhile, Go responded to Senator Trillanes IV’s accusation that he “bullied” the summoned college student.
“Malakas makapang-bully ng estudyante itong Bong Go na ‘to. Tatandaan mo, dokumentado ‘yung sabit mo sa frigate scam,” Trillanes said on Twitter.
Trillanes referring to Go’s alleged involvement in the supposed anomalous acquisition of two frigates for the Philippine Navy.
“Bagyong Trillanes! Go responded in a statement.
