The papers are signed: Pacquiao vs Mayweather mega-fight confirmed

Well after much hype, millions of rumours, false starts, stories, lies and all that good stuff – the Mega-Fight of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will take place May 2, 2015.

The fight will go on in Las Vegas – “What the world has been waiting for has arrived. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on May 2, 2015, is a done deal,” Mayweather wrote.

“I promised the fans we would get this done, and we did.”

Eight-division world champion Pacquiao dedicated the fight to fans who “willed” it into being.

Pacquiao posted a photo of the signature page on social media.
