The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested seven Nigerians accused of fraud and computer hacking in General Trias, Cavite on Monday night.

The Nigerians are said to be involved in an online dating scam – where several victims said the men courted them through social media and emails.

Seized from the suspects were numerous laptops used in the dating scam.

Police also discovered fake $100 (USD) bills being used by the men.

The Nigerians denied the accusations against them.
