A senior citizen couple was found dead inside their home at barangay Commonwealth in Quezon City.
“Unang Balita” reported Thursday morning the couple was stabbed to death. It was also learned that the suspects stole P100,000 from the victims.
According to siblings Princess and Onna, they discovered the bodies of their father, Leonardo Ollano, 69, and mother Erlinda Ollano, 63 covered with blood.
The siblings thought their parents had just left since the house was quiet, and the lights were off.
“Mga alas nuwebe na ang tagal na nagtataka na ko bakit hindi naka-padlock yung gate kasi kung aalis sila pina-padlock nila lahat. Tapos umakyat ‘yung asawa ko sa taas, at pagbukas ng ilaw nakasabog lahat ng gamit namin, sumigaw na siya pagbaba niya nakita niya sila mama saka si papa,” one of the victims’ child said.

(It was about nine o’clock, so I wondered why the gate was not padlocked because if they are going out, they lock everything. My husband then went upstairs, and when the light went on, he saw all of their things were messed up. He screamed as he came down that he saw mama and papa.)
Police initial investigation said Erlinda sustained 17 stab wounds while Leonardo had 14.
The couple also had wounds on their hands, a sign that they fought the suspect.
Neighbors said the senior citizen couple has no known enemies in their area.
Police said there was no sign of forced entry in the couple’s house.
A pair of slippers that did not belong to the victims were left in the crime scene.
It is being investigated if the slippers belong to the suspect behind the heinous crime.
