PAGASA weather update today as of 11 am: Typhoon Ramon weakened to a tropical depression while Sarah intensified into a tropical storm, November 20, Wednesday.
“Ramon” is now a tropical storm while moving over Isabela area and is forecast to weaken into a Low Pressure Area within 24 hours.
At 10:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “RAMON” was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Roxas, Isabela (17.1 °N, 121.6 °E ). It is moving South-Southwest at 20 kph with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

Ramon weakens to tropical depression, Sarah intensifies now tropical storm
According to PAGASA severe 11 am weather bulletin, “Sarah” intensifies into a tropical storm as it moves north-northwestward.
Sarah has an international name, “FUNG-WONG” (meaning: Phoenix, name of a mountain peak) was contributed by Hong Kong, China.
At 10:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm “Sarah” was estimated based on all available data at 715 km East Northeast of Infanta, Quezon, or 640 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.4 °N, 128.1 °E ).
Tropical storm Sarah is moving North Northwest at 20 kph with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
