According to the victim’s relatives, the woman’s birthday is tomorrow, and she would have just dyed her hair.

When the victims bled to death, the culprit immediately fled on a motorcycle without getting the license plate.

Authorities continue to determine the identity of the culprit while the crime is further investigated.

“As of now, this is premeditated, but as to the motive, they’re currently conducting investigation so let us wait for the outcome of the investigation,” said Valenzona.

According to relatives, the victim was a former news editor at a newspaper.

The victim’s family and relatives wept bitterly when her remains were taken to the funeral home.

There is a CCTV camera in the area, but according to Barangay Apolonio Samson staff Nat Magsalin, it was damaged when it got stuck in a passing truck and has not been repaired.

That would have helped the investigation, but the police said they would first base it on the information they can get from the family and some who witnessed the crime.
