RT-PCR and S-Pass required to enter Batangas City

Incoming non-residents of Batangas City are now required to submit a 7-day valid negative RT-PCR test according to Executive Order No. 25 by Mayor Beverley Dimacuha.

Currently, the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Coast Guard, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and other enforcement agencies have closed the city’s borders to ensure that it is enforced.

Along with the COVID-19 test result, the city will also ask for S-Pass registration and Travel Pass.

This also includes overseas Filipino workers and those from other countries, who can also be placed in isolation facilities if they have not already been quarantined.

Resorts and hotel owners have also been advised to install an S-Pass scanner to determine if check-ins comply with the IATF.

Students and employees who work, even regularly enter the city to deliver a product, even if they are from other provinces, will no longer be required to take the RT-PCR test and S-pass.

Batangas City is under general community quarantine, but they decided to enforce restrictions because of the threat of the more contagious Delta variant of COVID-19.
