Robbers defecate, steal P4.5M in Cavite

Robbers stole P4.5 million and even defecate in the house of their businessman victim in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

Lt. Col. Nerwin Ricohermoso, the chief of the San Pedro City Police Station, reported the incident that happened at the house of a used-car dealer Jovie Ryan Pedrido in Barangay Salitran 3.

Ricohermoso said the suspects might have robbed and vandalized Pedrido’s home when his family went out for an outing on Friday in Laguna province.

The victims reported the incident to the police on Saturday night.

Pedrido realized someone had broken in when they saw their back door forced open.

The robbers took the family’s money from their cash vault located in their bedroom.

Authorities said the robbers even drank some of the family’s beverages and scraped a message at the wall saying, “Nakuha na namin pera mo [We got your money].”

Investigators also discovered the suspects left human feces at the house terrace.

Ricohermoso suspected the robbers knew where the family’s money was since the suspects did not steal anything else aside from the cash in the vault.

“They also knew the family was away,” he added.

He also said authorities were working on securing the camera and identifying the suspects. They also collected the saliva sample from the glass the robbers used in the house.
