Many netizens have asked Pastor Apollo Quiboloy to stop typhoon “Tisoy” but the “Appointed Son of God” said he didn’t do it because of his “bashers” or detractors.
Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, Inc. leader made headlines after he claimed that he was able to stop the deadly Mindanao earthquake on October 29.
Quiboloy even got the support of President Rodrigo Duterte that he indeed stop the earthquake.
The 69-year-old self-proclaimed “Owner of the Universe” posted a video on his Facebook page explaining why he did not stop the typhoon “Tisoy.”
“Kasi ‘yung ini-stop ko ‘yung earthquake, nagalit man sila. Binash ako nang napakarami. So baka i-stop ko ‘yung bagyo, baka magalit na naman,” Quiboloy said.
(I stopped the earthquake, but they got angry. A lot of people bashed me. So they might get angry again if I stop the typhoon.)
“Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko kasi ‘pag pina-stop mo, nagagalit. ‘Pag hindi mo pina-stop, nagagalit din,” he added.
(I don’t know what I should do because if I stop it, they’ll get angry. If I don’t stop it, they’ll also get mad.)
Quiboloy didn’t stop typhoon ‘Tisoy’ because of ‘bashers’; but said he would not stop helping people
Quiboloy told that instead of commanding the country’s strongest typhoon so far this year, he just prayed it would just pass.
He also said he would not stop fulfilling his devotion to helping the Mindanao earthquake and typhoon victims.
“Ang hindi ma-stop diyan, ‘yung tulong namin, sa ating mga kababayan. Kasi panata ko ‘yun, sa mga maka-langit,” Quiboly said.
(I won’t stop helping our countrymen. That is my holy devotion.)
“Tisoy” left least 13 people dead while at least 34 were injured. It damaged houses and agriculture in southern Luzon and Visayas, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Thursday.
