Archaeologist have found several interesting historical artefacts in Tigayon Hill, a famous peak in Kalibo.
The group has unearthed several quartz crystals as well Chinese earthenware, thought to date back to the 13th century.
“We do not know yet why quartz crystals have been found in a third cave in Tigayon Hill,” said one of the archaeologists.
Many of the artefacts will be taken to the National Museum in Manila for further analysis. Last year, another group excavated a rare bead, human teeth and numerous pieces of earthenware at the site.
