Abigail Magtalas, aged 16, was reportedly possessed last Saturday.

Footage has emerged of a teenage Filipina, supposedly possessed by the spirit of her dead brother, revealing details of his murder.

Abigail Magtalas, aged 16, started trembling on Saturday (July 14) three months after her brother Marvin, 19, was shot dead by police in Nueva Ecija.

The girl claims that her brother was speaking through her to reveal that he endured hours of torture before being killed.

“They tortured me, they beat me and shot me seven times. They were gangsters. Listen to me, I was murdered,” she says in the footage.

Police said Marvin had been with two alleged drug dealers when he was killed in a gunfight with anti-drug officers on March 16.

Abigail can be seen crying uncontrollably before recounting details of the shooting, including when and where he was allegedly abducted.

In between sobs, she described how her brother pleaded for his life. “I was begging them to not kill me. I told them to just put me in jail,” she says.

Then, to her mother, who is seen trying to comfort her, she adds: “I’m sorry I did not listen to you. I should have gone home early that day.”

In the video, Abigail claims Marvin was kidnapped at midnight by several men and taken to Baypass Talavera in Nueva Ecija, where he was allegedly tortured.

Abigail describes how they killed him after four hours of torture him and then dumped his body in a nearby town.

“They shot my legs and told me to run. Then someone pushed me on the bridge,” Abigail says.

Abigail’s sister-in-law Danica Magtalas said: “She really loves her brother and can’t accept his death. She also wants justice for his brother.

“We are not lying. This is just the first time that this happened to Abigail.”

Possessed by ‘cursed rosaries’

Belief in possession remains widespread across the Philippines.

Last September, we reported on a warning by the chief exorcist of the Philippines that “Illuminati satanists” were distributing “cursed rosaries” to unsuspecting Catholics.

Father Ambrosio Nonato Legaspi made the claim on Novaliches’ Radio Veritas show Hello Father 911. A report on the show was carried on the news site of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines.

He said: “Listeners, be careful as the rosaries you might be using could actually be infested or cursed!”

The priest claimed that the rosaries were being given away by satanists, acting as part of a shadowy group called the Illuminati, and could cause users to become possessed.

Then, shortly before Halloween, another Filipino exorcist warned that dressing up in spooky costumes could also lead to demonic possession.

Father Marius Roque, exorcist for the Archdiocese of San Fernando, said he had performed exorcism rites involving two young people who had dressed up for Halloween parties.

“One was the case of a teenage girl who wore a black lady costume for a Halloween party. After a few weeks, it became obvious she was possessed by evil spirits,” he said.

The priest claimed that when the girl was taken to see him, he found her mouth and belly button “emitting froth”.
