Police raid spa offering 'extra service' in Quezon city; 6 women rescued

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) personnel raided a spa that allegedly offers ‘extra service’ and was also involved in prostitution.

Six women were rescued during a raid at a spa in Barangay Pasong Tamo.

According to QCPD staff, prostitution happens inside the spa.

The police arrested a spa staff during the raid.

A police officer pretended to be a customer, and the spa staff accepted his payment in exchange for ‘extra’ or sexual service.

Authorities, meanwhile, did not catch the owner of the establishment.

The spa staff and its owner will face charges for violating Republic Act 10364 or the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012.
