The Philippine Tourism Pavilion at the five-day travel and trade show in Berlin, Germany, features the Cordillera Region of the Philippines.
Internationales Tourismos Borse brings together numerous countries, and this year the Philippines Department of Tourism has showcased the stunning views of Cordillera.
Marie Venus Q Tan, the regional director of the Department of Tourism in Cordillera said “participation in the ITB will help boost tourism international arrivals to the Philippines.”
The booth featured wood carving demonstrations, regional coffee and more – the pavilion was listed among the Top Ten Best Exhibitors in the Asia/Australia/Oceania regions.
Those in attendance at the pavilion were Philippines Airlines and numerous accredited tour operators, hotels and resorts and organizations from the country.
In all, over 11,000 companies and more than 170,000 visitors attend the event every year.
The Philippines Department of Tourism has data showing that 30 per cent of all international arrivals in the Philippines come from Europe – mainly France and Germany.
