Alleged Australian child abuser Peter Scully has pleaded not guilty to five counts of rape and one count of human trafficking.

Bail was set at 120,000 pesos for each count of rape – human-trafficking however is a ‘non-bailable’ offense, leaving Scully and his accomplice in jail until their court hearing.
Other arraignment charges are pending against Scully in Manila – in all, nine children were involved in the charges Scully.

The lawyer for Scully, Alejandro Jose Pallugna, is also defending three Swedish men who were caught running a cybersex den in the city in 2011. The Swedes have been awaiting trial for more than four years.
