But there, Duterte-Carpio reiterated that she will not run for president, even though she is still leading in the latest survey.

“I have no plans to run as the president,” she said.

The mayor also said that she and Marcos just talked about how her party Hugpong ng Pagbabago can help the former senator’s run.

On Monday, PDP-Laban standard bearer Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa at Davao City Hall Duterte-Carpio.

Dela Rosa simply said that he “reminded” Duterte-Carpio that November 15, the deadline for the substitution of candidates, is near.

Duterte-Carpio had earlier said that he would run for mayor of Davao City again, but many are still speculating on the possibility of substitution.

Bato earlier said that once Sara Duterte-Carpio runs for president, he will wholeheartedly support.

“By all means, I will withdraw at papalit siya,” said Dela Rosa.

But the  watchdog Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE) has seen issues with Bato Dela Rosa’s sudden entry into the scene.
