As per PAL’s flight cancelation policy, affected passengers may rebook and refund within 30 days from their original flight date without paying rebooking or refunding fees.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) said on Wednesday that super typhoon Hagibis is unlikely to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).

However, Japan Meteorological Agency warned that Typhoon Hagibis could make landfall on Japan’s main island over the weekend, bringing strong winds, heavy rain, and high waves across a wide area.

Typhoon Hagibis has already caused cancellations of two Rugby World Cup matches that were to be played on Saturday.
