Pacquiao said he met the 23-year-old victim Christine and remembered her as a dedicated woman. He added her tragic death shocked him.

Flight attendant Christine Dacera was found dead after allegedly celebrating the new year with friends at a hotel in Makati City.

According to the investigation by the authorities, it is possible that the victim was allegedly given drugs and raped.

The identified suspects will be charged with rape with homicide, three of whom have already been arrested.

Other suspects were identified as Gregorio Angelo de Guzman, Louie de Lima, Clark Jezreel Rapinan, Rey Englis, Mark Anthony Rosales, Jammyr Cunanan, Valentine Rosales, a certain Ed Madrid, and a certain Paul.

However, De Guzman insisted that he is innocent and denied participation in Christine’s death, adding he was the one who tried to resuscitate her.

De Guzman said he and his companions did not leave Christine after she was found unconscious inside her room.

“Absurd,” De Guzman said of the alleged rape.

“Paano magiging rape? Bakla po ako. Never akong nakipagtalik sa babae,” he added.

(How would it be rape? I am gay. I have never had sex with a woman.)

Authorities are also investigating the information they obtained that a drug was mixed with the flight attendant’s drink.

Christine Dacera also told her friend, ‘Parang may nilagay si name doon sa drinks ko kasi nag-iba ‘yung pakiramdam ko (It looks like name put something on my drinks because I feel different).”
