The operation was conducted after several drug suspects who were first arrested in San Miguel, Pasig City, where five kilograms of marijuana were seized on December 24, tipped the police that Sorio and Laparan are also selling marijuana.

Police identified the suspects and were able to trade to buy marijuana. Police immediately arrested the two suspects when the sale to the poseur buyer was carried out.
