But when Operatives of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) entered the third floor, they discovered it was a prostitution den.

The building had rooms with beds and a center stage which served as a “showroom” where customers choose the woman they like.

“Hindi ito hotel type na tulugan pero eto yung pang-mabilisan. In fact, yung mga cr dito walang pinto.” said NCRPO Chief Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said.

(The rooms were not hotel-type for transient but for short-time stay. Their comfort rooms don’t have doors.)

Eleazar also said the rooms were used for sexual pleasure or sexual acts between sex workers and customers, which are all Chinese nationals.

According to reports, each woman would cost P9,000 to P22,000. The building has 30 ordinary rooms and 7 VIP rooms for patrons which are mostly Chinese.

Police also arrested four (4) Chinese men who allegedly run the prostitution den and seven (7) Filipino women who worked as the den’s utility workers.

“Di ko po alam na ganito. Ang sabi po nila, ano daw po ito, massage therapy ganon. Tapos maglilinis ka lang ng kwarto.” said one of the arrested Filipino cleaners.

(I didn’t know it was like this. They said it was massage therapy then I’ll clean rooms.)

Police will also file human trafficking charges against the arrested 20 Chinese customers. One customer said they just drank there and did not get the women for sex.

Prostitution den in Parañaque operates 5 p.m. until 5 a.m.

One of the arrested Filipino cleaners said the den opens at 5 p.m. until 5 a.m. during weekdays and extends its operating hours during weekends to serve more customers.

Reports also said Filipino customers could enter the building only if he or she has a Chinese companion.

Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said they discovered the illegal activity after they observed many Chinese nationals go in and out of the building even if it was not entirely yet.

“This building has not yet secured an occupancy permit, more so a business permit,” Olivarez said.
