OFW who just came home stabbed to death by her partner

A female overseas Filipino worker died after receiving around 50 stab wounds to various parts of her body allegedly committed by her partner in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.

In a report by Adrian Prietos on GMA Regional TV News on Friday, the victim was identified as Enelisa Petra, 30-years-old.

The suspect, Jhondad Sase, was arrested and detained.

It was found out that Petua worked as an OFW in Saudi Arabia and only returned to the country this January.

According to Police Major James Latayon, chief of the Sipalay Police station, intense jealousy appears to be the motive for the crime.

Sase was allegedly drunk when he bought a knife and went to the victim’s boarding house.

The two had a heated argument when Sase confronted Petua, who allegedly chats a foreigner.

The confrontation turned into a heinous crime after Sase stabbed the victim.

Sase apologizes for what he did, especially to his two children Petua.

The victim’s family decided to file a case against Sase.


Holdupper shoots BPO employee

On Saturday morning, a holdupper shot a BPO employee on the street in Tondo, Manila.

According to a report by Mai Bermudes in 24 Oras this Sunday, the employee was on his way home walking on Juan Luna Street when he was approached by a man who pointed a gun at him.

CCTV footage showed that the victim and the suspect were still fighting until the victim was shot and the suspect stole his bag.

Police conducted a follow-up operation and tracked the suspect in Maypajo, Caloocan.

According to the police, the suspect is a notorious robber and has also victimized people in Valenzuela.

The suspect has a standing warrant of arrest in the robbery and holdup case and is also a member of the sputnik gang.

A .38 caliber gun, ammunition, and the victim’s cellphone were recovered from the suspect.

The suspect did not give a statement but admitted that he was the one who caught CCTV in the crime.

Meanwhile, the victim is currently recovering at the hospital and is stable.
