The USS Tuscon, a Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine stopped in Subic Bay during its Indo-Asia-Pacific deployment.

Yesterday, the US Embassy in Manila reported that the submarine stopped in Subic Bay last week.

The USS Tuscon carries a crew of 150 and measures 360-feet long, and is one of the most advanced submarines in the world today.

“The men have worked and trained hard to prepare the ship for deployment, and their performance over the past 11 months has been nothing less than exceptional,” said Senior Chief Electronics Technician Billy Daly Jr., USS Tuscon’s chief of the boat.

The home port of the USS Tuscon is Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
