The teenager is said to be trained in bomb planting and was handed over by his two uncles.
Once handed over to the 46th ID Peace and Development Team, he was then passed on to a local branch of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Authorities are saying the boy attempted to leave the Communist NPA rebels, but would receive threats from the guerrillas for refusing to do the tasks they requested.
