Notorious drug pusher dead in police encounter

One alleged notorious drug pusher was killed in a police encounter Friday morning in Malate, Manila.

According to Police Lt. Col Samuel Pabonita of the Malate Police, their anti-drug operation targets alias Nor.

The suspect and police poseur buyer agreed to meet in Arellano cor. Don Pedro St. Barangay 762, Zone 82.

The operatives had bought P500 worth of suspected shabu, but the suspect sensed that he was transacting with a police officer, so he allegedly fired shots at the agents.

It was here that police were forced to shoot the alleged drug pusher. Alias Nor was shot in the chest and taken to a Manila hospital but died along the way.

Two sachets of suspected shabu weighing 6 grams with a street value of over P40,000 and a caliber 38 gun were recovered from the suspect.

The suspect allegedly was a known hold upper in the area and has been and out of jail.

P10-M shabu in Chinese tea bag seized in QC

Malabon Police seized about P10 million worth of shabu packed in a Chinese tea bag during a buy-bust operation Wednesday morning at C-4 Road, Malabon.

According to Police Col. Jessie Tamayao, chief of Malabon Police, authorities also arrested their target, alias Remel, a welder, and 3 of his companions.

Police transacted with the suspects using P20,000 boodle money. The cops found the bulk of shabu packs inside a Chinese tea bag.

Alias ​​Remel admitted he was selling drugs even though he had previously been jailed for drug pushing. His three companions also confessed to the crime.

The suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
