The US Embassy has announced the arrival of the fast-attack submarine USS Key West (SSN 722) in Subic Bay this week.

The Los Angeles-class attack submarine is one of the most stealth driven submarines in the US fleet.
The sub and its crew of 150 sailors arrived in Subic Bay for a routine stop.
The 360-foot, 6,800-ton vessel is described as “one of the stealthiest, most formidable submarines in the world.”

The arrival of the USS Key West is yet another form of power that the United States will show force in the South China Sea escapade.
