Nigerian, Cameroonian arrested in drug buy bust

Authorities arrested a Nigerian, a Cameroon citizen, and a Filipina drug buy-bust operation in Makati City, Bam Alegre, reported on Unang Balita Wednesday.

The suspects were identified as Ifeanyi Augustine Chinweuba from Nigeria and Cameroon native Antoine Negou Fotie and his Filipina wife, Jeneth.

“Nagsu-supply shabu sa Pampanga and Bulacan, umaabot NCR (National Capital Region). Nag-share ng info ang Region 3 kaya naging positive ang naging buy-bust,” said PDEA-NCR Director Joel Plaza.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives seized up to 600 grams of suspected shabu worth about P4 million from the suspects.

Chinweuba dealt with the entrapment agents while Fotie and his wife served as the lookouts during the operation.

Chinweuba, however, denied the allegations raised against him even if he has a pending case in court on illegal drugs. The Fotie couple refused to issue a statement regarding their arrest.


Duterte to executioner: ‘cut off heads’ of Kuwait OFW killers

President Rodrigo Duterte said he wants Kuwait to “cut off the heads” and execute the killers of slain OFW in Kuwait, Jeanalyn Villavende.
