Man killed his 18-year old neighbor after he heard her laughing in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur, Wednesday.
The single lady just laughed at a cellphone video she was watching when she was hacked to death by their neighbor in Zone-6, Brgy. Amoguis, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur.
The victim Julie Mae Rivero was dead on arrival at the hospital while responding police arrested the suspect Joel Corono Israel, 35 years old, also single and resident of the said barangay.
According to reports, the victim was at their balcony while watching a video on her cellphone when she suddenly laughed.
However, the suspect, who was just in his house nearby did not take it lightly. Israel had been mourning the death of his father for days and thought that the victim was laughing at him.
The suspect hurriedly took his bolo and attacked the victim. Mae got so shocked and terrified that she was not able to run for her life.
Israel hacked the victim until she fell in their balcony due to severe wounds at the different parts of her body.
