Relatives looking for 32-year-old Roselyn Perlas discovered her decomposing, naked body in a shallow well, in Carles, Iloilo.

A police spokesman said: “I believe she was raped. She was naked. There was no other motive because she had no known enemy in their place.”

Perlas had been missing since October 11, but relatives and her live-in partner had not been worried – as they said she had a habit of leaving the house for days at a time.

Police have recovered a pair of red shorts near the well that are believed to be from Perlas.
