Philippine National Police Chief Guillermo Eleazar praised the policemen who showed maximum tolerance despite the insult and cursing of a motorist in Muntinlupa City.
“Napanood ko na ang viral video ng isang nagwalang motorista sa Muntinlupa at pinupuri ko ang mga pulis na nasa video sa pagpapakita ng tunay na kahulugan ng maximum tolerance,” said ni Eleazar.
According to Police Lt. Riza Soledad of the Public Information Officer of the Muntinlupa City Police, the motorist identified as Franz Luke Orbos faces charges of alarm and scandal, resistance and disobedience to a person in authority, and direct assault.
The case allegedly took root after the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau staff apprehended the motorist because he was parked in Susana Heights, and it was already causing traffic.
“Ito po ay pinuntahan ng ating mga personnel from Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau medyo unresponsive nung una. Eventually, nung siya ay nagising medyo naging unruly na po siya kaya tumawag na ng tulong ang ating pong personnel from MTMB ng responde galing sa kapulisan,” said Soledad.

“Unruly pa rin siya and as seen sa nag viral na video, nag-exercise ng maximum tolerance ang ating responding police officers pati na rin ang mga taga MTMB but hindi ma-pacify ang atin inirereklamo hanggang sa dumating sa punto na kailangan siyang arestuhin,” he added.
The motorist allegedly admitted that he had been drinking.
Soledad said the motorist was released for further investigation.
“Tuloy po ang kaso at merong preliminary investigation scheduled on July 30 dito rin po sa Prosecutor’s Office ng Hall of Justice sa Muntinlupa,” he said.
Soledad added that the motorist has relatives who are prominent personalities.
“Kapag binastos mo ang batas at ang mga nagpapatupad nito, sisiguraduhin namin na mananagot ka kahit sino ka man o sino pa ang tatay mo. Dahil naniniwala ako na walang matinong magulang ang magkukunsinti sa ganitong klaseng asal ng mga anak,” said Eleazar.
