Man arrested after threatening to spread nude photos of girlfriend

A 23-year-old man was arrested in Malolos City, Bulacan, after allegedly threatening his 22-year-old girlfriend that he would spread nude photos of her.

According to Police Lt. Nelvin Ricohermoso, chief of the Region 3 Anti-Cybercrime Unit, the suspect alias Dale agreed that the victim alias Roxanne would pay him in exchange for not exposing the photos. It was here that the suspect was caught in an entrapment operation.

The college victim didn’t think her one-week-old boyfriend would do this to her on a dating app.

A cellphone containing sensitive photos and videos of the victim was confiscated from the suspect.

The suspect, who is scheduled to face charges of violating the anti-photo and video voyeurism act of 2009, violence against women and their children, grave coercion, and robbery-extortion linked to the Cybercrime Prevention Act 2012, did not give a statement.
