A businesswoman and her teenage son were robbed and killed by their houseboy in Ilagan City, Isabela this past week.
49-year-old Emerald Bartolome and her son Keith were found inside their home with multiple stab wounds in Barangay Buinatan.
Witnesses said they saw the houseboy, 32-year-old Melvin Mamuri, leaving the area with bloodied hands just minutes before the crime was discovered.
Both victims were found in the bathroom – the husband was not home at the time of the incident.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect – the husband said he made off with a bag containing peso and dollar bills inside it.
