A wild monkey ran amok in Baguio City, biting five people and several dogs during its rampage.
The monkey was said to have “gone ape” on Thursday night in Quezon Hill Extension region of the City.
Bitten were 37-year-old Danilo Cagais, 63-year-old Rogelio Bautista and 22-year-old Richard Dako, all residents of San Carlos Heights. The other two victims were not identified in the report.
The report said the creature was caught earlier and escaped after biting several dogs. It was caught again and placed into a sack for safe keeping. The animal will be turned over the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
