The mobile vaccination of Muntinlupa City is already in full swing to bring the vaccination closer to the residents of the city.
They use the Mobile Learning Hub of the Muntinlupa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, which was first converted as a vaccination hub.
According to MDRRMO, the mobile learning hub will help especially with vaccines that are sensitive to hot temperatures.
It is circulating in the communities so that more residents can be vaccinated, especially for those who cannot leave their barangays due to enhanced community quarantine.
As at other vaccination sites, the vital signs will be taken first, and then, the residents will go straight to the bus where the vaccination will be done.
The mobile vaccination hub is expected to rotate in several areas in Muntinlupa, including Tunasan Health Center, Tunasan National High School, Victoria Health Center, SM Center Muntinlupa, Muntinlupa National High School, Biazon Covered Court, Ayala Malls, Southpark, Putatan, and Bayanan Elementary. School.
The LGU will announce the schedule for the rotation of the mobile learning hub in various barangays.
According to the latest record of the Muntinlupa City LGU, 248,379 have been vaccinated in the city, and vaccination is expected to accelerate in the city due to the mobile vaccination hub.
Meanwhile, two more areas in Muntinlupa City have been subjected to 2 weeks of total lockdown to curb the rising COVID-19 case.
Mobile vaccination of Muntinlupa City begins
The extreme localized community quarantine (ELCQ) was announced on Thursday at noon at 5 streets in Katarungan Village, a private subdivision in Barangay Poblacion.
According to the Muntinlupa city health office, 17 active cases were recorded in the area on Wednesday.
Many high-risk groups such as senior citizens, youth, and pregnant women live in the area.
Such streets were blocked, and residents were barred from leaving except in the event of an emergency.
Starting at 6 pm Thursday, ELCQ was declared in Building 17 of Filinvest Socialized Housing.
Only one building and not the entire complex is being locked down.
There have been 7 active COVID cases in more than 100 residents of Building 17.
