However, Sobejana said that he could not disclose the British man and Pinay wife kidnappers’ possible hideout. This is to ensure the troops’ search and rescue operations would not be hindered.

Four armed men abducted the couple Allan Arthur Hyrons, 70, and his wife, Welma Paglinawan, at the resort they owned in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, on October 4.

Police already released three facial composite sketches captured by CCTV.

Authorities revealed earlier revenge for terminating five teachers and kidnap-for-ransom as a possible motive of the Zamboanga kidnapping case.

According to Sobejana, they received a report that before the abduction, the couple fired five teachers from their school property, so it is possible that the teachers’ relatives took revenge.

The couple operates many businesses in the province, including the beach resort where they were abducted.
