Mike Defensor tests positive for COVID-19

Anakalusugan party-list Representative Mike Defensor on Tuesday said he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The lawmaker said he acquired the disease two weeks ago and that he will have his final COVID-19 test by tomorrow, Wednesday. He is currently in quarantine.

“Patapos na, bukas final test…” Mike Defensor said in a message.

Asked if he is asymptomatic, Mike Defensor said, “I guess so. Everything’s normal. Parang one day lang ako nagka-flu.”

On Monday night, Negros Oriental Representative Jocelyn Sy Limkaichong also announced that she tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Roque, he was tested twice for the virus recently. He said he tested negative on March 10, the night he had a trip with President Rodrigo Duterte.

He said he took another test on Sunday because he was supposed to meet Duterte on Monday.

Last week, PNP spokesperson Police Brig. Gen. Ildebrandi Usana confirmed on Thursday night that  Gen Debold  tested positive for COVID-19.
