Actor Mccoy de Leon has confirmed that he and actress Elisse Joson got back together.
De Leon’s confession came as he and Xian Lim faced the media as stars who will play Isko Moreno’s life for a musical biopic.
“Open naman po kami sa lahat,” said de Leon in response to the question of whether he and Joson got back together.
“‘Yung pagkakamali mo noon, lahat naman tayo may pagkakamali, maitutuwid mo ngayon. Sobrang ma-drama. Pero totoo ‘yon. Kumbaga nagiging better person ka,” said Mccoy de Leon.
“Actually hindi ko po talaga in-expect ‘yung mga nangyari pero sa lahat nang nangyari sobrang thankful po ako,” the actor added.
According to Mccoy de Leon, he and Elisse Joson got back together before the pandemic.
“Low key lang kami,” said de Leon who admitted that the pandemic also strengthened their relationship.
For now, de Leon insists he and Joson are happy.
“Sobrang happy po talaga. Hindi ko po ma-explain in words,” said de Leon.

To maintain their love despite the pandemic and the distance between them, de Leon said open communication, trust and understanding are key here.
“Communication, understanding, faith at trust. ‘Yun ang susi roon para maging okay at maging kampante,” the actor said.
Just last month, Elisse Joson admitted that she misses Mccoy de Leon.
On Instagram, Elisse shared a collage of screen grabs of her conversation with Mccoy via the video app.
In the caption, Elisse thanks Mccoy for his love for her despite the distance between the two of them.
“Thank you for reminding me that I am loved by you, even through the distance… Sabi mo, lagi kita inaaway, pero miss lang talaga kita,” said Elisse who is now abroad based on her posts on social media.
It will be remembered that in August last year, fans of Elisse and Mccoy were encouraged after the actor shared a photo where he kissed the actress’ forehead while they were on a yacht.
In 2016, Mccoy and Elisse formed a love team in “Pinoy Big Brother.”
