Grabillo said customers could pay their water bills on an installment basis in any amount they can. He said Maynilad’s system could track these staggered payments.

“Puwede pong utay-utay. Ang totoo, kung magkano lang ‘yung kakayanan ng ating kababayan habang bumabawi po sila sa kasalukuyan nating sitwasyon,” Grabillo said.

“Puwede na po nilang ibayad sa mga payment center. Puwede din po silang magbayad sa online. At ‘yun naman ay maka-capture ng aming system na unti-unti pong nababawasan ang kanilang bill,” he added.

Ship trips from Manila to N.Occidental canceled

The ship trips from Manila to Negros Occidental were canceled again, according to the Philippine Coast Guard on Wednesday.

According to Cmdr. Jansen Benjamin of the Philippine Coast Guard-Negros Occidental, they received verbal instructions from the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases to temporarily stop the travel of ships for stranded individuals to Western Visayas.

Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator of Negros Occidental, said the province had demanded the temporary cancellation of trips for stranded Negros residents because the province’s quarantine facilities are once again full.

In the past four days, more than 1,500 stranded individuals have returned to the province aboard ships. All allegedly did not have proper coordination from the IATF.

Diaz added that even the quarantine facilities in the province are already full, and they are also asking for help.
