Max Collins, Pancho Magno welcome baby boy

Celebrity couple Max Collins and Pancho Magno welcomed their baby boy on Monday, July 6. The Kapuso artists introduced baby Skye Anakin (inspired by characters of Star Wars) online Wednesday morning.

Magno posted a video on Instagram TV showing Max Collins holding baby Skye for the first time. Collins had a water birth at home.

The actor also shared a video of him cutting his baby’s umbilical cord with worship song background music.

“To our son, Skye Anakin, you are one of the reasons why I believe in God. Can’t wait to be your best friend,” Magno said.

“To my amazing wife, you are also one of the reasons why I believe in God, you did everything with no medications and no tears. There are no words to describe what you did. I love you and your heart! You are meant to be a mother.

Max Collins, Pancho Magno welcome baby boy

Due to the high risk of getting exposed to the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) and the situation in the hospitals, the couple decided Collins would deliver their first baby at home through water birth.

Collins shared in “24 Oras” in May that she used her free time during the lockdown to learn about home births through online classes. She also underwent exercises safe for pregnant women. Max and Pancho’s doula or birthing support partners and midwives were already determined months before the birth.

“Thank you to our delivery team, Ms. Irina, our doula, and Ms. Aileen and Ms. Charm, our midwives,” Magno ended.

The couple announced their pregnancy on Christmas Day 2019. They then revealed they were having a baby boy a vlog back in March. The GMA7 couple got married in a star-studded event at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City in 2017.

Max Collins is an actress and model, of dual American and Filipino citizenship. Pancho Angelo Acuña Magno is a Filipino actor. He is the oldest son of Redgie Magno, VP for Drama Productions, GMA Network.
